Before you start
Before you begin, ensure you have installed our ToothPic Passkey Provider from the Google Play Store and followed the setup instructions. Please note, the app is compatible with Android devices running version 14+.
Registering your ToothPic Passkey on Amazon
You can register your ToothPic Passkey using the app, PC browser, or mobile browser, and then authenticate to Amazon from any platform you prefer—whether it’s the app, PC, or mobile browser. The authentication platform doesn’t need to match the registration platform.

Registering Your ToothPic Passkey on Amazon App
- Process completion time: 2 minutes on average.
1. Open Amazon App: open the Amazon app on your mobile device.
2. Login: you should already be logged in. If not, sign in to your Amazon account.
3. Explore Your Account:
- Click on the user icon, a window will pop up with “Hello, [your name]” and the options below to explore your next steps on Amazon.
- Select the button “Your Account”.
4. Navigate to Account Settings:
- Select the button “Your Account”
- In the new drop-down menu, go to “Account Settings” and choose “Login & Security.”
5. Find the Passkey Option: in the “Login & Security” section, scroll down to “Passkey” and click on “Edit.”
6. Start Passkey Setup:
- In the Passkey section, click on the “Add a Passkey” button.
- A popup will appear with the Google default option. Don’t click on this option. Instead, select the blue “Save another way” option.
7. Choose ToothPic Passkey Provider:
- A popup will display options for third-party passkey providers. Select “ToothPic Passkey Provider.”
- A new popup will ask, “Use ToothPic Passkey Provider for all your sign-ins?”. Click on the blue “Use once” button.
- Another popup will appear, asking “Create passkey to sign in to Amazon Shopping?”. Click the blue “Continue” button.
8. Biometric Verification:
- ToothPic Passkey Provider will start the process, requiring your chosen biometric method to unlock your smartphone.
9. Generate ToothPic Passkey:
- Once your smartphone is unlocked, ToothPic will generate your secure unclonable passkey. You will see the progress bar indicating the completion percentage.
- When the process is finished, you will return to the Amazon “Passkey” section. You will see a button with the ToothPic logo and the message “Passkey created.”
10. Completion: Amazon will confirm the setup with a green button saying “Setup complete. Next time you can sign in with a passkey.”
Registering Your ToothPic Passkey on Amazon from Your PC
- Process completion time: 2 minutes on average.
1. Open Amazon: open the Amazon website in your PC browser.
2. Login: ensure you are logged into your Amazon account. If not, sign in.
3. Access Your Account: click on “Account & Lists.” From the drop-down menu, select “Account.”
4. Navigate to Account Settings: in the “Your Account” section, click on “Login & Security.”
5. Find the Passkey Option: scroll down to “Passkey” and click on “Edit.”
6. Start Passkey Setup: click on the yellow “Setup” button in the Passkey section.
7. Start Passkey Setup: scan the QR code
8. Skip QR Code Prompt: click “Continue”. A popup will appear asking “Skip the QR code next time?”. Click “OK”.
- Create Passkey: when prompted “Create passkey to sign in to amazon.com?”, select “Save another way”.
- Choose the ToothPic Provider: from the available options, select “ToothPic Passkey Provider.” When prompted with “Use ToothPic Provider for all your sig-ins?”, click “Use once”.
- Continue Passkey Creation: click “Continue”.
8. Biometric Verification: unlock your phone with the biometric verification.
9. Generate ToothPic Passkey: once unlocked, ToothPic will create your secure passkey. A progress bar will indicate the completion percentage.
- Generate ToothPic Passkey: when finished, a button with the ToothPic logo and the message “Passkey created” will appear on your smartphone’s main page.
10. Completion: your PC will display a confirmation in the Amazon Passkey section with a green button stating “Setup complete”. Next time you can sign in with a passkey.
Registering Your ToothPic Passkey on Amazon from Mobile Browser
- Process completion time: 2 minutes on average.
1. Open Amazon: open Amazon on your mobile browser.
2. Login: you should already be logged in. If not, sign in to your Amazon account.
3. Access Your Account: click on the section of your Amazon account. A drop-down menu will appear.
4. Navigate to Account Settings: select “Your Account” and then click on “See all accounts.”
- In the new drop-down menu, go to “Account Settings” and choose “Login & Security.”
5. Find the Passkey Option: in the “Login & Security” section, scroll down to “Passkey” and click on “Edit.”
6. Start Passkey Setup:
- In the Passkey section, click on the yellow “Setup” button.
- A popup will appear with the Google default option. Don’t click on this option. Instead, select the “Save another way” option.

4. Biometric Verification: ToothPic Passkey Provider will prompt you to use your selected biometric method to unlock your smartphone.
5. Generate ToothPic Passkey: once your smartphone is unlocked, ToothPic will retrieve your secure unclonable passkey.
6. Successfully Access Amazon :
- A pop-up will confirm “Authentication completed”.
- At this point, you will be logged into your Amazon account automatically.

1. Open Amazon: open the Amazon website in your PC browser.
2. Login: click the “Sign-in” button.

5. Start Passkey Access: scan the QR code and click “Continue”
- Skip QR Code Next Time: a pop-up will appear asking, “Skip the QR code next time?”. Click OK.
6. Use Saved Passkey for Amazon: a pop-up will appear asking, “Use your saved passkey for Amazon.com?” Click Continue.
7. Biometric Verification: unlock your phone with the biometric verification.
8. Generate ToothPic Passkey: ToothPic will retrieve your secure, unclonable passkey.
9. Successfully Access: a pop-up will confirm “Authentication completed”. At this point, you will be logged into your Amazon account automatically.
Accessing with Your ToothPic Passkey on Amazon from Mobile Browser
- Process completion time: 30 seconds on average.
1. Open Amazon: open Amazon from your mobile browser.
2. Login: sign in to your Amazon account.
- The Amazon “Welcome Section” will appear with a field to insert your email or phone number. Click on it.
- A pop-up will appear with the message “Use your saved passkey for www.amazon.com?” and your ToothPic passkey from the registration phase.
- Select ToothPic Passkey and “Continue”.
3. Start ToothPic Passkey Process: ToothPic Passkey Provider will prompt you to use your chosen biometric method to unlock your smartphone.
4. Generate ToothPic Passkey: once your smartphone is unlocked, ToothPic will retrieve your secure unclonable passkey.
5. Successfully Access Amazon: Once the authentication process is complete, you will be logged into your Amazon account automatically.
